Jewellery Trends

Jewellery trends for 2025 - think big bold and bright. Vivid colours and dramatic earrings and a focus on sustainability seems to be a key factor when our customers make their decision to buy a piece of jewellery. Consumers want to support small independent retailers and because trends in jewellery move much slower than the fashion industry, the link to what you spend on jewellery is closely related to getting more wear for your bucks.  There is a real move from customers to embrace their old pieces of jewellery and instead of out with the old and in with the new they are determined to repurpose and modernise. The shift towards more sustainable, handcrafted pieces is great news for all, but especially the small independent retailer, just like PEARL & GRACE, who are passionate about providing a new approach to buying online.

What is obvious is that there is a real shift in 2025 for bright colours and statement pieces that are playful and get you seen. The desire is all about pleasing oneself, going out and being noticed. The trend for colour is the way forward for 2025, but so is the ability to wear both silver and gold jewellery at the same time. We don't need to match anymore; we can enjoy being in both camps silver or gold and at the same time.

We are also seeing you wear more than one necklace, layering different designs and colours is the approach that many are taking. Being bold and brave is on the agenda and what is even more interesting is needed to wear statement pieces, helped by the House of Gucci no doubt. What is obvious is that people want to get dressed, get out and be noticed and anything goes.

Last year we saw the introduction of rainbow jewellery and this trend is still strong for 2024, with lots of new and exciting pieces added to our collection, from drop earrings to small hoops, tree of life pendants. They are bright and colourful and a real showstopper.

Those wow factor earrings are also making a stand, and we stock an amazing number of statement earrings that you are bound to fall in love with. From sparkling statement studs to dramatic drops, we have them in stock.

Beaded bracelets and necklaces are also on trend, that boho look is incredibly sexy and consumers are adding to their collections all the time. They don’t necessarily need to be large, beaded necklaces to get you noticed, but they do need to be colourful. The layering of tiny glass beaded necklaces is going to be a key stable in everyone’s summer wardrobe.

Pearl Talk / Pearl Core so many names to describe the continued resurgence of pearl jewellery. We have seen a huge increase in the sale of pearls, it is all over social media, they are everywhere, from accessories, to clothes and thankfully for me still on trend when used in designing jewellery, gone are the days when pearls only came out for best. They have had a modern makeover and everyone no matter their age is wearing their pearls with a sense of entitlement which we love. That modern look is resonating amongst jewellery designers, we are using coloured glass inset between freshwater pearls, drop pearl earrings, baroque pearls in different colours, the designs are endless and so much fun.

The last year, we have also seen a huge increase in customers buying jewellery online, there was a time when customers would only buy jewellery that they have seen in person, touched, and tried on, but with more reputable online suppliers and the everlasting impact Covid has had on online shopping that trend will continue. That’s why we pride ourselves on sourcing and creating beautiful affordable jewellery, which is gift boxed, delivered to your door with a money back guarantee if you aren’t happy with your purchase.
